Once again it’s time to shine a light on some of the great Scottish football content being produced by independent sites and podcasts around the country.
The Euros are getting ever closer and the content around that is getting bigger and better as each day passes.
I really enjoyed this week’s Hampden Roar Podcast specials with Scotland hero Stuart McCall, who played nine times for us in major tournaments during the 90s. It was fascinating to hear McCall looking back at his Scotland days and talking about some of the matches that shaped my footballing life, such as the Scotland vs Switzerland at Euro 96.
💙🎙️ Stuart McCall – Part One
He played every minute at three major tournaments with Scotland, and here McCall reminisces about the first two.

Sports Marketing Scotland have started a new podcast and it featured The Terrace’s Duncan McKay. It was a very enthusiastic and intelligent overall look at Scottish football and how it markets itself.
I found myself extremely engaged in the conversation and was so glad to hear people wanting to mae Scottish football the best product possible.
“If I were Troon, I’d be making a huge song and dance about the fact that their ground is the only place in Scotland where Pele’s played.”
