Supporters Direct Scotland (SDS) and the Scottish Football Association have launched the annual National Football Fans’ Survey, asking supporters to have their say on the key issues in Scottish football.
This year’s survey marks the third year in which SDS and the Scottish FA have collaborated to produce the largest survey of supporters in Scottish football. Last year, over three thousand fans across the country participated in the survey, which includes questions on topics such as the national team, development of young players and the match day experience.
The survey will be open to supporters for a month, available to complete on SDS’s website ScottishFans.org/survey. The results of the survey will be published at the Supporters Direct Scotland annual conference on June 20th at Hampden Park.
Andrew Jenkin, Head of SDS said: “We’re delighted to be working with the Scottish FA on the National Football Fans Survey again. I think it’s appreciated by all that supporters are critical to the game in Scotland and the National Football Survey offers a real tangible platform for supporters to have their say on matters at the heart of the game.”
Stewart Regan, Scottish FA Chief Executive,: “The National Football Fans Survey allows everyone the chance to have their say on the major talking points in Scottish football. Already we have witnessed the excitement of the SPFL Premiership play-offs – one of the main areas of feedback from previous surveys – and the introduction of the pyramid.
“We look forward to working in partnership with Supporters Direct Scotland to ensure the fans have a prominent voice in the Scottish football debate.”
The results of the survey will shape and influence Supporters Direct Scotland’s research papers which are presented to major stakeholders and decision makers within the game, ensuring supporters views are heard.
Fans can also win tickets to Scotland’s upcoming games against Qatar and Germany by completing the survey.
