Police Scotland Publish Policing Football Strategy Document

The National Strategy for Policing Football in Scotland has now been published to the Police Scotland website as part of their publication scheme. You can find the document here.

The document states Police Scotland’s vision is to see Scottish football ‘free from hated, offensive behaviour, violence and disorder’.

And that the members of Football Working Group were committed to working together to achieve three key strategic objectives:
– Provide a safe and secure environment where everyone can enjoy Scottish football
– Provide a consistent, professional approach to policing of football across Scotland and
– Eradicating hate crime, offensive behaviour, disorder and violence from Scottish football
