Dons Supporters launch funding campaign for crowd display

AFC supporters worldwide are being asked to contribute to fund the magnificent crowd displays that have been inspiring Dons players and fans.

In little over a week, more than £700 has been raised through donations and an auction for golf equipment signed by prominent Dandy, Paul Lawrie.

Stephen McCormick, the Dons fan behind the displays, said: “If every Aberdeen fan around the globe could donate 50p we could really have a kitty and be in a position to buy the best material available.”

Stephen has asked that fans help by spreading the word.

“If you can share this on all Aberdeen-related pages and encourage fellow Reds to donate we can maybe reach this target by working together.

“Post on any Aberdeen forums, email or text members of your supporters club, just whatever it takes to reach everyone.”

Stephen added: “We can be very powerful when we all work together so please do what you can.”
