Berwick Rangers’ home SPFL 2 match with Peterhead on Saturday, December 28th, 2013 is being sponsored by Berwick Rangers Supporters Trust.
Chairman, Michael Smyth, said, “We have pledged a sum of money to the football club well in excess of the anticipated gate receipts to enable spectators to be admitted free of charge in the hope of attracting a bumper attendance to this match during the holiday period. We will however, be taking a bucket collection with a suggested donation of £2 per person to help further boost club funds. Obviously, at this time of year there is always the risk of the weather derailing our plans but we hope we strike it lucky.”
