On this week’s Behind the Goals podcast, we speak to Phil Differ. Phil has written for most of Scotland’s best-loved comedy shows over the last 30 years, and this year brought his one-man show “Billy Bremner and Me” to the Edinburgh Fringe.
In his show he talks about his teenage dreams of following in Bremner’s footsteps from St Modan’s High School to the very top of the game – only to find that his own mediocrity stood in his way! Undeterred, he has kept playing football all these years and still cares as much about every goal as he did as a teenager.
Unfortunately the show was only on during the first week of the Fringe, but Phil hopes to tour the show later in this year – we’ll keep you posted as dates are confirmed.
