Brazil 2014 was one of the best World Cups we have seen in a long time. We’ve enjoyed some great matches, incredible skill and wonderful goals over the last month and we want you to let us know which goal you think deserves to be voted Goal of the Tournament.
We’ve teamed up with Bala Sports to produce the nine images below of the World Cup’s best goals. Have a look and vote on the poll on ScottishFans.org to let us know which goal you think was the best. Feel free to take to Twitter and let us know why you voted for the goal you did.
Bala Sport are a brand new co-operative organisation set up to expand the availability and use of ethically produced Fairtrade sports balls (focusing initially on footballs) in the UK and beyond.
The Fairtrade Mark is the most widely recognised ethical label globally and trusted by 89% of UK consumers. A key role of this co-operative is to raise awareness of the issues around Fairtrade sports balls and how they help make a difference in the lives of some of the estimated 40,000 workers in Sialkot, Pakistan (where around 70% of the world’s hand-stitched balls are made).
When a high quality Fairtrade certified football is sold in the UK the buyer is guaranteed that the men and women who made these hand stitched products are paid a fair wage and benefit from fair working conditions and also the additional Fairtrade Premium.
Three types of Bala Sport balls are now available to purchase through the Bala Sport website www.balasport.co.uk and you can follow the group on Twitter @BalaSportUK
