SD Scotland Present On SLO Role at UEFA Workshop

SD Scotland were delighted to present on our work developing the Supporter Liaison Officer (SLO) role in Scotland at a recent UEFA Workshop, organised in partnership with SD Europe.

The event, held over two days in Vienna, provided us with the opportunity for an overall update on SLO matters and the future development of the role, as well as offering an excellent platform for an exchange between participants.

Head of SD Scotland and national coordinator for the SLO role in Scotland, Andrew Jenkin, delivered a presentation on how a national fans body (SD Scotland) can work with a national football association (the Scottish FA) in developing the SLO. Within his presentation, Andrew outlined how the organisation were benchmarking progress made with the roles’ implementation across the country.
Andrew said “It was an honour to be invited to speak at the event. The invite is a testament to the great strides clubs in Scotland have made in appointing SLOs over the past year. The event overall was a great experience and we’ve learned a lot that we can bring back to assist SLOs further development here”.
